Sheryl: You need a haircut.
Me: I’m growing it out.
Sheryl: Well, I don’t like it.
We’ve had the identical conversation two other times in the last three weeks.
Maybe she’s trying to tell me something?

I think women care about guys’ hair, but not so much vice versa. I always ask my boyfriend, “What would you think if I cut my hair short?” and of course his answer is, “Whatever you want, dear!” Maybe it’s best that way.

It’s my second marriage. My husband was a widower and I was divorced for almost 20 years. He gets his cut at an inexpensive place that takes coupons and I go to a place that does foil highlights. I think he would prefer that I grow my hair longer, but we both know that that’s not the stuff that matters. Three years in, we’re still happy, so yay.

I’m in the same boat as Katie. I could come home with a crazy colored,buzzed hair cut and my husband would say it looked lovely-as long as I liked it. I on the other hand, have an outspolen opinion on what I feel is just the right hair length for my husband and tell him so!
