Non-committal beauty

A product thumbnail of Sally Girl Mini Lip Gloss WandCommitment phobia is defined as an avoidance of long-term partnership. Most hear the term and think of romantic relationships, but it can apply to other areas of your life as well.

For example, I have a hard time committing to economy size bottles of shampoo, and sometimes picking a new shade of eye shadow makes me unnecessarily nervous. Like it’s going to be the end of the world if I don’t look great in taupe eye shadow! =)  We all have our quirks, I guess.

For all my fellow beauty product commitment-phobes, I’ve rounded up a list of fun products that you can try worry-free.

  1. Sally Girl Makeup and Polish – These teeny tiny beauties are great for testing out different colors, without spending a lot of money. At $0.99, you can afford to experiment. You never know…purple polish could just be your new BFF Polish for Life!
  2. Travel size liquids – Quite a few brands at Sally Beauty have come out with travel size versions of their products.  Buy a few and see which ones you like the best before committing to full size.
  3. Semi-permanent Hair Color – Looking to try out a new hair color? That can be scary, especially if you’ve had the same shade for quite awhile. Semi-permanent hair color is kind of a “try before you buy” miracle product. It allows you to test out a color, without having to commit to it long-term. It washes out in a 6-8 shampoos so if the color isn’t for you, you aren’t stuck with it. Love it? Make it last longer with permanent color.

When you get the WILD WHIM to try the red lipstick look (seriously…I WILL look as good as Gwen) you will be super glad you only paid $.99. If you are like me it will be put on and immediately washed right off….while laughing….

I guess i could say that when it comes to nail polish, i break all the rules. Ive heard people say things about spring colors and fall colors etc. I just wear what i feel like wearing at the time, it doesnt matter what season it is or whether or not it compliments my skin tone. Life is too short to care what other people think, if i like it im going to wear it. Ive had so many women tell me they love the color im wearing but they could never get away with it. I say why not??? Be bold and beautiful.
