My Favorite Beauty Products

I just returned from a beautiful weekend in San Diego at the BlogHer conference. I met some truly amazing women bloggers and had the best time socializing and learning.

After finding out that I was with Sally Beauty, the first question out of everyone’s mouth was, “What’s your favorite product?” So, I decided I should do a round-up of my Top Five Favorite Sally Beauty Products.

In no particular order:

1. Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Creme Hair Color in 3G – My hair has been a lot of colors over the years, but this has to be my favorite shade. It’s shiny, has just a hint of red for warmth and makes my hair feel and look super healthy.

2. Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat - I refuse to paint my nails without this. It gives my polish a glass-like finish, dries in a snap and keeps them from chipping. I apply it every couple of days to keep my manicure looking fresh.

3. China Glaze Refresh-Mint – You know how newly engaged women constantly hold out their hand to admire their ring? That’s what I do when I wear this polish.

4. Miracle 7 Leave-in Conditioner - Now here’s a product that actually lives up to the hype. It’s ahhmazing. I love it because I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily, but needs a lot of conditioning, and Miracle 7 takes care of it.

5. Palladio Liquid Eye Liner in Black Forest - I always made a mess with liquid liner until I tried Palladio. The brush is super easy to work with and lets me draw perfect lines. Black Forest is a great color because it’s dark without being as harsh as black.

What beauty products can you not live without? Please share in the comments!

I love the Out the Door topcoat from Sally’s. I feel the same way about it as you do about the Seche Vite, can’t do my nails without it and my manicures always last 10 days or longer with it and the Orly rubberized bonder for basecoat.

    Oh Lindsey!!!
I ALWAYS love your blog posts but this one got me really excited! I was thinking just the other day about products I cannot live without! So I thought (even though you didn’t ask!) I would give you my list!

Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat – I, like you, WILL NOT do my nails without this product. It is like I physically cannot do it-my hand won’t paint unless the Seche Vite is nearby! It dries fast, stays shiny, and keeps the polish on forever! I even take it with me to salon visits!

China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat – Again, I cannot and will not do my nails without applying this miracle base coat. Like the Seche Vite (or because of…who knows) my polish stays on DAYS longer when using this!

FingerPaints – And I mean anything FingerPaints! I have yet to find a color I didn’t love!!

One ‘n Only Argan Oil Restorative Mask – This is a salon visit in a bottle. I have highlighted hair. I live in Texas. It is HOT and I swim. Hence, I have dry and brittle hair sometimes. One 5 minute treatment in the shower…and WHAM my hair looks smooth and shiny! I literally look like I just left the salon after a blow out! (Ahem…did I mention it is HOT in Texas? Just making sure because it is BOILING HOT).

GVP Flat Iron – I have tried and enjoyed MANY of the flat irons that Sally Beauty has to offer. But for me none compare to my GVP Flat Iron. It is easy to use (flat ironing or curling), lightweight, and can withstand anything. I love it!

Thanks for all the great posts and keep ‘em coming!

And again – it is HOT in Texas? Do you have any cooling gels you could rub over the state?
