Living with boys

I have three boys.

To say that personal grooming is low on their priority list would be an understatement.  I don’t have unrealistic expectations.  I don’t expect them to look picture perfect each day, but please, can they at least look presentable?

Hair not combed?  I’m OK with that.  Wear a hat.

Shirt not tucked in?  OK, whatever.

Nasty fingernails?  NEVER.

So my 11-year-old was my test subject.  See for yourself:

We used Beauty Secrets Nail Matrix Fortifier cuticle oil on his nail bed once a day for 10 days.  Just look at the difference!  I’ve been using this product on my own nails for months, and I never get cracked, dry cuticles any more.  If it works on these nails, can you imagine what it can do for yours?

Bonus – It smells great, but tastes horrible, so he quit biting his nails, too!

I put this on my to buy list for next month (*hangs head* I just did a big buy for the crackle I wish I would have known I need a new cuticle oil) just one question did you use the 0.5oz bottle or the 2.5oz and how long do you think the bottle you have would last?

I’ve been polling people around the office and they all gave me different answers. Some people use their cuticle oil up in a month, and some take a year to finish a bottle.

Mindy, our nail expert, says that it depends on the size of your nail beds, how dry they are, how often you apply, and how much of the oil you use.

So, if you’re unsure, I suggest starting with the .5oz size and see how long that lasts you.

I love this product. I wish I had found it earlier. It really does make a positive difference. My nails seem harder also. I use Cuticle Matrix at night and Burt’s Bees Lemon Cuticle Cream in the day.
