I have a confession. I don’t always use beauty products as they’re intended to be used. I know. I’m so wildly rebellious.
For example, back during the unfortunate trend of wearing lip liner darker than your lipstick, I would wear eyeliner on my lips paired with some light, frosty lipstick. How did anyone ever think that was attractive?! Yikes.
Anyway, this morning as I was using my eyelid primer as concealer for my under-eye dark circles, I starting getting curious about what different uses for product that other people have discovered. So tell me…do you bend the beauty rules? Tell me about it in the comments!

In a pinch I can use my pressed powder as an eye shadow base and then blush as a pretty pink tinted eyeshadow in the creases.

I actually prefer using a pressed mineral foundation applied with a dry sponge wedge as a base for powder eye shadows. I have had much better results than with any shadow primer product.

I actually like using a dab of the Ion gloss drops on my skin, although my dermatologist probably wouldn’t approve!
